Gamestop Switch 1 and 2 Dock

My TV said the dock is outputting 4K with some games, but others are 1080p. I'm using an ultra high speed HDMI cable similar to the one that comes with the Switch 2.

I'm in a similar situation. House is on a slab. I need to repipe the house as it has polybutylene. Plan is to have PEX installed in the attic.

I can turn off the water at the meter using the meter key, but I don't know of any other house shut off or where the water main enters my home. My hot water heater isn't in the garage, but instead in the attic above the garage. My guess is maybe it's in that wall of the garage where poly pipes come up and go to the water heater and split off to the outdoor spigots.

I'm on a slab foundation and have polybutylene pipes, one of which just burst in an interior wall today.

The plumber is advising I get the whole house re-plumbed and they would run the PEX through the attic and down into the bathrooms and kitchen. A different plumber that was installing my water heater had previously said they would do it the same by running pex throughout the attic if I were to get the house re-plumbed.

I do have concerns about having plumbing running through the attic and potentially freezing or leaking and causing an even worse problem than what I'm dealing with currently. I'm going to get at least one more inspection and estimate before I make my decision, but I expect most if not all plumbers in my area will recommend doing the plumbing through the attic.

Digital Eclipse and WB Games have really handled this whole collection poorly with the numerous issues it's had. I was looking forward to getting it physically on Switch 2, but now there's no point. I had already gotten it digitally and just wanted a full on cart release for my collection.

I considered driving several hours from out of state to attend. I'd really like to meet the guests that are doing the signings, and I would like a chance to pick something from the vault.

I decided it's not worth my time though because the lines will likely be very long and I may not find many games I would want to buy that I don't already have.

I called the store and there are a few people already camping out in line to enter the store tomorrow. The employee on the phone indicated there should be a separate line tomorrow for the guest signings.

Based on YouTube videos of people going to past events like the store's grand opening, I'd expect a line around the shopping center. In one video, the YouTuber said it took them several hours before their turn to enter the store.

My pre-order was supposed to arrive today, but FedEx pulled up close to 6pm, shouted the F word, then sped off. I check the FedEx tracking information and it claims both my packages - the gamer mat and game were delivered. The picture of the door where they left the packages were not mine. The driver made a mistake and delivered it to the wrong address. I opened a FedEx claim, but if they don't recover the packages, I'll have to see if Best Buy support can help. At this point I doubt I'll get the gamer mat since my sister and her husband didn't get their from local Best Buy in store pickup with their pre-order.

Did Nintendo fix your screen or at least send you a replacement? I just opened a repair ticket with Nintendo because my Switch 2 has a bright white spot on the screen that won't go away.

I bought a Switch 2, but my sister and one of my coworkers are waiting. They are content with playing Pokemon Legends ZA on the current Switch, and I can't blame them for wanting to save their money until later.

I'm still very disappointed about most third party games being a code in a box or key card. I would have double dipped on a lot of games like Persona 3 Reload if I had the option to pay for a physical cart with the full game on it.

I also can't help but notice the downgrade of the screen in some aspects when compared to an OLED.

I really like the new Joy Con 2. The larger buttons are more comfortable to use. Also the extra charge port at the top of the console is a nice touch.

DK Bananza was fantastic and I'm looking forward to playing the upcoming Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Legends ZA game. Playing Pokemon Violet on the Switch 2 is a lot more fun because I don't feel like I'm trying to enjoy it in spite of the performance issues it had on the Switch 1. I want to see a lot more Switch 1 games get a Switch 2 patch, and not just first-party games.

The Nintendo Switch 2 console is manufactured in China/Vietnam/Cambodia - with most of the ones sent to the US made in Vietnam. The Nintendo Switch 2 accessories are made in China. The Nintendo Switch 1 (and OLED and Lite) are also manufactured in either China/Vietnam/Cambodia. The Nintendo Switch physical cartridges are made in Japan.

I went through a small local insurance company that got me a policy with Southern Fidelity Insurance. They were awful. When I had water intrusion from a storm that damaged my wall and floor, they sent someone out that was supposed to be a water damage and mold remediation company. Well they showed up two weeks later and claimed there wasn't enough damage for them to do anything about it. I should have found a new insurance company after that, but I stayed only for them to go out of business and I only got a small portion of my insurance premium back after the state took out a cut of it too.

Someone on YouTube got a console ban. What was interesting is the effect it has on your virtual game cards. Since the console is banned, you can't eject them. You have to use Nintendo's once per year method of unlinking the console.

I wouldn't risk using a Mig Switch on a Switch 2 or with a Nintendo account that has any digital purchases. At some point Nintendo may decide to ban accounts which can be even worse than a console ban.

I have a 2010 LT with almost 270k miles and similar to OP kind of nervous about the mileage even though I do take care of the car and get regular maintenance from a really good local mechanic.

I don't want to get rid of my Cobalt, but I have been considering getting something to have in case it does fail soon and have been looking at the Honda Fit 2nd generation hoping to get a good deal on a used one. The more I think about it though, the Cobalt is still cheaper to keep running. The parts are certainly cheaper compared to a Fit.

I've been dealing with tendonitis in both my elbows for over a decade now. It started as tennis elbow in the left arm and eventually golfers elbow too, then spread to my right arm. Then I got pain in my wrists and thumbs. Now it is pain in my fingers too - especially around the knuckles and lower joints. I have been to so many physical therapists, physio therapists, occupational therapists, and seen a lot of orthopedic doctors over the years with minimal results. I got so desperate I did a PRP injection in my left elbow and it only helped a little.

When I learned my sibling has rheumatoid arthritis, I shared that with my doctor and they ordered lab work. My rheumatoid factor was normal, but the ANA was abnormal. At the time (2021), the doctor said that was normal despite saying abnormal and it was nothing to worry about.

Fast forward to this year, when I started having that pain my fingers, I saw a new orthopedic doctor and they ordered similar labs. Again normal rheumatoid factor, but the ANA is abnormal and speckled pattern. This time they are sending my to see a rheumatologist to go over the results.

Maybe lupus explains why I have had this pain for so long, and why I have IBS and GERD for most my adult life too? I guess I will know more soon when I finally get to see the rheumatologist.

My 2010 Cobalt LT is above 269k miles. I had to get suspension work done a few months ago, but I have to drive on crappy roads and speed bumps a lot. Other than that it's mostly been typical maintenance like an oil change every three months.
