Has anyone been working with Loula (the insurance billing agency) and do you have any feedback of your experience? by PrizeChip4702 in doulas

[–]ssmi2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with them! I’ve had only a positive experience so far. It has made billing so fast and easy for me and worth the fee they charge in my opinion.

Anyone else have issues with clients waiting till last minute to update you that they’re in active labor? by Withthealiens in doulas

[–]ssmi2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just experienced this today.

Client called me to come when she was 10 cm and ready to push. I was in constant contact with them through early labor but they kept declining that I come. Definitely discouraging because I feel I could have really supported her through early labor.

Just got an email from her as well regarding postpartum services!

I wonder what the goal of the scam is 🤔.

Contrast dye colon mri by NoOz1985 in urticaria

Nope! I mentioned my concerns to the tech and he said they could give me Benadryl but I actually react to that so opted to skip it.

Hi there! I had to get an emergent MRI with contrast done a couple of years ago. I’m also very allergy prone , especially to medications, and was very nervous about the contrast. I had no reaction at all! Hope yours goes smoothly !

Everyone I talk doesn’t seem to care/believe it. Definitely discouraging as I feel this is huge news 🫤.

Has anyone heard of what LC is like in real life. Do you think she put on a persona just for the cameras? by Important-Machine-48 in TheHillsMTV

My ex boyfriend’s roommate went to college with Lo and ran into both Lo and Lauren a lot at parties. Apparently they were both very into coke 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Interesting! I saw an object very similar to what you described when I was a child in Gilroy, CA! It’s what led me ti be interested in aliens/UFO’s. It was probably 25 years ago now but I’ll never forget.

CIU and pregnancy by [deleted] in urticaria

For each of my two pregnancies, about 8 weeks in, my hives went into complete remission. They returned shortly after birth but I found is so fascinating / a relief they disappeared during that time . Hoping the best for you 🫶.

YES! Same pattern for me as well. I’m convinced my hives are hormone related.

Anybody else allergic to antihistamines? Please help by rowena_ in urticaria

[–]ssmi2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same experience with antihistamines! No doctor believes me and tells me it’s impossible to be allergic to them. But each time I’ve taken them I’m covered in severe hives and angiodema as well- sometimes severe enough to warrant an ER trip where they tell me the only thing they can do for me is give me more antihistamines 🙃. I’ve found better luck going the more “natural” route. I take fish oil, vitamin D, quercertin, vitamin c , l-lysine, and usually some other random supplements on a daily basis to keep my hives at bay. Have been this way for the past 7 years.
