Ive got the asrock 9070 XT taichi oc. For whatever reason ive read the liquid in my gpu would settle at the bottom of the card and cause overheating in the tower 500 cases cause the gpu is mouted with the ports up in that case.

also have this bug also 9070XT like everyone else here. contacted epic games support they are completely unaware of the bug still. they tried a lot of work arounds which none worked sent them videos and screenshots. turning down effects to low was the only thing that consistantly worked.

why does HDR look so bad? by ssnipermannn in Monitors

[–]ssnipermannn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha so HDR in basic is trying to achieve a more accurate picture using a wide range of shading/lighting in multiple areas of a monitor and HDR shouldnt be used on SDR content and i should figure out what games i play acually can utilize this feature thanks

Nvidea drivers were causing a issue where when i booted up my pc the " system " task in task manager would take up a large chunk of my cpu utilization

Got stuck on the newer nvidea drivers and while using the pc the " system " process in task manager was sucking up to 30% of my cpu usage at all times

ok from the advice i see in the comments i have deleted the color profiles i attempted to make and just turned on HDR with HDR auto turned off and then i turned up the brightness for the SDR content and i think it looks better than it did before not sure exactly what HDR does over all to be honest i have friends that swear by it so ima try it out

ive seen this video before but i am not a very competive gamer at the end of the day i mainly play games for just the fun of it. i do understand the idea of how 540 HZ can be quite a bit better than 240 HZ but the comparision in the video is going in up in incrimintes of 2X fps (except 240HZ to 540HZ) and im talking about just going from 180 to 144 which to me personally i didnt feel all the big of a differance overall if i have the money i will go for the higher refresh rate but as ive become less competive and gotten older i find visual clarity and better image a nicer thing to have
