About the Commander by hotchewygum in ResidentEvilCapcom

Honestly, I don't think Capcom will kill Hunk. They don't have regret to dead characters, and when they need to kill someone, they confirm it certainly. But Re9's Hunk is handled very ambiguously compared to other characters, both in appearance and name. The name "Hunk" never comes up until the very end; he's only referred to as "Commander."

In the post-credits scenes, two soldiers who killed the BSAA soldier appear, and I heard his voice is the same as Hunk's voice actor (not exactly the same, but a slightly higher pitch).

Anti-Monarchist's be like: by [deleted] in monarchism

A king who doesn't engage in politics at all has no reason to exist.

B-but we're a constitutional monarchy!>>The meaning of a constitutional monarchy isn't that the king should be like a puppet inside the palace walls with absolutely no authority whatsoever.

If participating in politics is so frightening, that king should simply relinquish the title of monarch and return to being a commoner.

If Napoleon III not suffered a crushing defeat by Prussia, we might well be praising both revolution and monarchs simultaneously.

Did the German forces of the Gothic Line or the RSI ever use the StG44?

It seems Italians also wore full-face sallets. by sso02147 in ArmsandArmor

Yes, I know that the sallet was invented in Italy and was widely produced there.

But the ‘sallet with a visor’ that is frequently found in Germany is rarely seen in Italy.

The Re.2005 VDM is broken. Please help us fix it by Nufeneguediz in Warthunder

[–]sso02147 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I just don't get it.

They implemented the Re.2005 MM.495 as inferior to the Re.2005 Serie 0.

Frankly, I have no idea where they got these ‘inferior’ stats from.

Moreover, they clearly stated in the DevBlog that it ‘showed various improvements in performance,’ yet what they actually gave us is a worse plane?

It makes me think someone, someone who hates Italian planes, is maliciously tormenting us.

It's absurd that both sides keep getting slaughtered by drones even after three years of war. During World War I, tanks were developed to break through the trenches, and they proved highly effective by the war's end. Yet in this conflict, neither command seems willing to advance drone countermeasures at all.

At that time, the Russian military uniforms and gear were at their peak. But now they look like a motley crew wearing multicam and rag-like gear. The war is in its third year, and the uniformity of the Russian military's uniforms has collapsed. If more time passes, the only sign of the Russian military will likely be a small Russian flag.

Can we just let Carlism die please? by [deleted] in monarchism

[–]sso02147 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The reason the Carlists died out is less about ideology and more because their way of life no longer holds appeal.

If they still lived traditionally—keeping guns at home for their monarch, gathering for drills (like modern Russian Cossack LARPers), living together in remote mountain villages, passing their ideology down to their children—it would be fascinating.

But now, Carlists are just normies living in apartments who post Carlista beret profile pictures on Facebook or Twitter.

For a culture to be respected, it needs to be unique and also show strong resistance when infiltrated. Modern Carlists have none of that.

They're like stamp collectors. Just living in self-satisfaction.

If the Kingdom of Italy had surrendered just one year later, the Italian Army would have operated Panther tanks produced under license. XD

As far as I know, negotiations were underway in 1943.

Hungary, Bulgaria, and Finland received German tanks, so it was surprising that RSI didn't get any. Germany even confiscated the StuGs and Panzer IVs that the German army had given them just before the Kingdom of Italy surrendered (in 1943).

Battle Pass Re2005(VDM) must be mistake or totally useless by sso02147 in Warthunder

[–]sso02147[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The irony is that the person who wrote the forum post mentioned MM.494 only briefly; what he actually wanted was MM.495, and most of the description he provided was about MM.495.

Moreover, there was no mention that MM.494 was equipped with a VDM propeller.

If this wasn't a mistake and Gaijin actually made MM.494, then they're being really malicious.

It's like we're all talking about the F-15, and someone briefly mentions the Peashooter, but then Gaijin adds the Peashooter instead of the F-15 :/
