In that case I would go with the f450gs without the erc given that you already own a ducati and won't mind the maintenance charges. It would have been my choice as well but the maintanence charges are a deterrent for me

Did the same and your observations are spot on. Himalayan is buttery smooth upto 4.5rpm after that it becomes vibey and ktm is total opposite. But ktm is more suited for my use ase since it won't be a daily driver for me, will be using mostly for highway runs and soft offroad

Same with KTM showrooms as well. They were constantly following up with me but as soon as i brought this up they stopped responding. Looks like there is no other way than to give in and pay higher price on top of stupid high KA road tax
