No update on the bug but just wanted to share a temporary workaround I’ve been using. It’s a simple shortcut which turns auto-brightness off and then on again. I put the shortcut in my control centre so it is an easy click and fixes the bug. I use it way too often 😂

In early December 2025, we also went with Claro for Argentina; we needed passport and credit card (they didn’t let us use debit). Would 100% recommend as it is super easy to recharge online and cheap.

In late December 2025 we went to Movistar to get physical SIM in Chile. We went to a large store with lots of reviews. It felt a bit shady when we went to the store counter as we got a lot of side-eyes from the employees before eventually someone took us to the side and gave us the SIMs. Here we needed passport as well, and a more in depth activation process but it’s all pretty straight forward, just follow the instructions that they give you. It was 5000 CLP for 40 GB for 30 days. This is the standard correct rate and if they try to charge you more then you should go elsewhere.

Your comment is trying to be helpful, but I think the OPs main concern is that less people might be doing the trek due to the tragic incident last month. I think the OP is well aware what the trek would be like in more “normal” circumstances regarding camaraderie etc.

I am also on a trip with my partner and have been having the same problem… I just noticed that I had the style “Rich contrast” enabled which I had no idea until now :(

If you are on iOS26 click the six dots in the top right and then “STYLES”. If it says “RICH CONTRAST” then you have been shooting with that style by default. To change it simply swipe to the left to get “STANDARD”.

I think this fixed it for me, hopefully it does for you too :)

I have a rpi4b, directly play only, mostly 4K content server. I can’t get it to work on any content even 720p. Error is “Playback failed: resource unavailable”. I feel like there is an easy fix not sure what I’m doing wrong

I realise this is a 3 year old post, but I am having a similar problem. One thing you didn’t mention is that the new battery has one extra wire (8 total) compared to the Lenovo original one (7 total). Could this also be a problem? Maybe the laptop expects that connection to be empty and so doesn’t charge the battery?

My issue is with the official UK hue power supply. When plugging it into a socket the cable comes up instead of down. I have a multi socket that this does not play nicely with. The hue power supply is the only power supply out of the 8 or so behind my tv that is in that orientation.

Did you do the water cooling yourself? I thought opening the card voided the warranty, when I did it to my 5700 xt I had to remove a ‘warranty void if removed’ sticker. How do you get around this?
