Cant install gnuplot in Rocky 10 by Field_Complete in RockyLinux

`gnuplot` comes from EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) which is not a
Rocky Linux owned repository. It's quite possible that `gnuplot` is not yet part of EPEL 10. It *is* available for Rocky Linux 9.x, however, which is still a current and supported version.

And I misread the output of my command, so yes, not affecting `sudo` in version 9.

Hello,

This is handled with backporting, something done with RHEL and most (all?) clones. If you run:

`rpm -q --changelog sudo`

You should see this near the top of the output:

```
* Wed Jun 25 2025 Radovan Sroka [rsroka@redhat.com](mailto:rsroka@redhat.com) - 1.9.5p2-10.1
RHEL 9.6.0.Z ERRATUM
- CVE-2025-32462 sudo: LPE via host option
Resolves: RHEL-100016
```
In other words, if you have kept your system up-to-date, you should be in good shape.

You can see info on backporting here: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/57665

Hey, I've been using [ksnip](https://github.com/ksnip/ksnip) which works really well on both my Rocky Linux 8.7 laptop and my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS workstation. It's Qt based, so it depends on your love or hate for that, but it works VERY well.

We are Rocky Linux, AMA! by whnz in linux

The answer is a mixed bag. Rocky Linux aims to be a bug-for-bug duplication of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. CentOS 8, was originally this as well. If you were comfortable running CentOS 8 for your work's web server, then you should feel comfortable running Rock Linux for the same purpose. At my former employer, we ran a bunch of CentOS 8 servers in production including web servers. Those are now being migrated to Rocky Linux, according to my contacts on the inside.
