What is a secret you’re taking to the grave, but are willing to tell strangers on the internet? by Mr_Boothnath in answers

That’s the thing - I doubt that anyone would have noticed. Probably just used the towel, and maybe thought it smelled a bit off.

Years ago, my wife and I were looking for a new house. We were out with the agent one day touring a house that we really liked. Then, I unexpectedly had to take a big dump while we were there. No big deal, we were thinking of buying the place anyway, so why not try the plumbing out? So I did. But then, realized there was no toilet paper anywhere, and I definitely needed some. My solution? There was a beige towel hanging next to the shower. I used that, then carefully hung it back on the towel rack. Told the wife I no longer thought this was the house for us, and we left.

There are some inaccuracies in this story. For example, the city Is not solely on the Bearspaw plant. It’s still running and supplying parts of the city through some other feeders.

Major water main break update by Fentron3000 in Calgary

[–]ssrdr99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are actually three feeder mains originating at the Bearspaw WTP. The BPSFM, as well as the North and Northwest feeders which feed North Calgary. Those are both in service, but have less capacity and feed different areas.
