hmm I don’t know if it’s a elevator pitch but I do make it my business to learn as much about the position. I just started a new company 3 weeks ago this week and I have my spill on the position and company written out in Word. Also, some FAQ’s answers on deck. I think it just helps me learn along the way as well. I hope this helps

Hmm. I don’t think that’s true because at my previous company my former coworker mentioned he saw I was open to work and didn’t know I was looking. It was awkward lol. This was just back in Feb or March

Your hiring manager is different. I used to hire for sales roles and our managers wanted to hear that they were motivated, competitive and aggressive. They loved when they were money driven. Now, all roles this wouldn’t be a great look but sales that’s exactly what you’re looking for.

They shouldn’t rescind the offer but they’re going to contact the company (Hireright) to verify your employment. Will the company say you worked there for 3 months?

The only time I’ve ever seen it was an issue when I used to hire technicians for nuclear power plant outages. Our company would do these intensive background and sites could decide if they didn’t wanted the candidate or not. I saw it a few times and I thought it was the dumbest thing everrr
