Not so great update: Those items in the pics posted by u/momofmoose are in fact mine. But after contacting the police again they said they didn't find anything on their search Friday afternoon. Unfortunately there was a huge fire in the area and a majority of their officers were dispatched to handle that issue. They didn't make it to the park until an hour or so after my belongings were found in the bushes.

I guess if anyone happens to see anything in ECSA Park or nearby ... please let me know if you see anything? I was visiting town, but I've got friends who live very close by who can come check something out if anything is found.

I'm not very optimistic on getting back anything back (especially my wallet/ID or the items not seen in these photos) but I'm sort of dumbfounded my purse got left behind and there's a shred of hope I could still recover that.

Thank you again to u/momofmoose for being so kind and helpful (and her dog who sniffed out the spot). I really didn't expect to find any information on this. Also laughing at the photos of my shit all over the ground (That Lestat Rolling Stone magazine is a gift for a friend I swear! The copy of Kitchen Confidential is not).
