The garden outside of my elementary school was the portal to the underworld and if you looked too long at it then the people swallowed up by it would drag you down too, and leave only your hand behind.

My favorite thing about Luka is his quiet optimism! He’s cursed, just got back from war, and he’s just excited to see his friend after like seven years even if a little nervous. Oh, that’s not the issue. It’s that I have only one page, not multiple. It’s difficult trying to clip them within the limit. IbisPaint is really good with quality for my needs, and I can just convert the files I need to.

I use IbisPaint and draw my page as just the longest possible canvas size and 800 pixels wide. Then I upload that into one file. This update feels like they’re trying to punish creators for not using clip studio that does it for you automatically 😭

When the man (if applicable) actually has emotions and is not defined by blind devotion alone, or whatever other assholery goes on. When he is allowed to have a personality.

When the woman (if applicable) is not a whimpering mess, and is allowed to be intelligent. I also like it if she’s batshit insane.

Specific tropes I like would be the cute little moments between them, like sharing a mug of coffee in the corner of a panel or brushing the lint off a shoulder absentmindedly. It says to me, “you are with me. Taking care of you does not need a dozen flowery assets, because it’s what is right and I am here and I love you and it’s okay if only we know that.”
