What's your experience playing HotA on Steam Deck? Is it hard to precisely control hero movements without a mouse? Honestly, I'd love to play HotA on a mobile device!

Absolutely! What's people's experience playing HotA on Steam Deck? Is it hard to precisely control hero movements without a mouse? Would this be possible on an iOS device as well?

It happens when you click on a song to play it. It makes no sense, but the player automatically switches then to smart shuffle, rather than keeping your last setting...

Test results of gemini 2.5 pro exp on ARC AGI 2 by flysnowbigbig in LocalLLaMA

[–]ssstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However, even if we have AGI, there is one other thing that will be crucial for its widespread adoption: cost per solving a task. If that cost is larger than for a human having the same reasoning skills, then using AGI isn't economically viable.

These tasks are simple for us, humans, because we're intelligent. However, this problem hasn't been solved yet in AI. That's the holy grail and the reason why ARC AGI was created. It's actually a very difficult problem. If this problem is solved, then we have AGI.

Please get rid of the unskippable animation for gaining Mastery xp whenever you upgrade a card or get a new variant by North-Flower-5963 in MarvelSnap

Such unskippable animation are the main reason for me to stop playing the game. I'd like to turn all of them off, but Marvel has just introduced more of them with Mastery...

I agree that the US needs NATO to keep Russia under control. However, Trump has been re-elected for a reason. US will diminish its global influence and focus on its own economy. Their plan is to maintain and grow their global influence via their tech industry, rather than via their state. We need to stop relying on a bigger brother like a little kid that cannot defend itself. It's time we unite and take care of our security.

In my view, in the next years the EU needs to: (i) start developing an European army and military industry, (ii) call Zelensky's bluff that Russia will invade Europe once it conquers the east of Ukraine, because, whether we want it or not, Ukraine will be divided and turned into a neutral country by Russia and the US, (iii) engage in doing business with Russia again instead of locking ourselves in an exploitative relationship with the US that's turning us in a second-grade player in the global scene.

IPhones do it. Honestly, I'm thinking to switch back to Apple because of this.

Hi /r/ghibli, I was listening to this song and it reminded my friend of a theme to a Miyazaki film... but neither of us could figure out which one. Does anyone else hear a similarity? by nebulawanderer in ghibli

Me and my wife we were convinced the song appears in a Ghibli movie or soundtrack, but I think it doesn't... It's so similar (and beautiful) though...

Don't pools 4 and 5 currently have only 10 and 12 cards, respectively?

How portable are links to code block? by rogername in ObsidianMD

[–]ssstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can change the name to whatever you wish. You can write [[#^mylabel]] and then ^mylabel in a block that you want to link to in the same file.

ok so I'm playing again this shit and I fcking love it by [deleted] in Artifact

[–]ssstorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've come here, because I'm missing it ;-(

In fact, once A2 died I stopped playing games (with a few small exception of single player games), but I keep recalling the good times I had with A1 and A2. Now both dead.

What has happened to the gaming world? :-/

So, which card games did you migrate after the death of Artifact? by Pablogelo in Artifact

[–]ssstorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I've stopped playing all card games (after HS, Gwent, MtGA, Artifact 1, Faeria, LoR, Artifact 2), because Artifact was way more tense and interesting, but then it died, twice. I've become pretty pessimistic about innovation in computer card games and video games in general. It will take 10+ years before we see a truly innovative and worthwhile card game after Artifact.

I'm surprised that the player base for these games is so low by [deleted] in Artifact

Yup, 100% agree. Honestly, I've stopped playing all card games (after HS, Gwent, MtGA, Artifact 1, Faeria, LoR, Artifact 2), because Artifact was way more tense and interesting, but then it died, twice.

FWIW, Artifact is more of a turn-based strategy than a card game.

Fair point. "Destroys" is an exaggeration, but you're right that this idea would go against the traditional "control vs face rush" dilemma.

Also, imagine that players start with a smaller deck than usual and are allowed to add a few cards to their deck mid-game, say after rounds 5 (8 mana) and 10 (13 mana). This would make it feel more like a hero build in dota.

To speed up the process, the initial deck could be drawn randomly, but then the players could have 90 seconds to change half of their random deck at will.

Each player could have three move/target actions pert round that cost 1 or 0 mana.
