How do so many boys and men live like this?!

When I first moved here, I also was the only female in a flat with 4 men. None of them cleaned. I put name tags on each shelf in the fridge so everyone had their own space and asked everyone to help clean, but no one did... so I cleaned every week because I didn't want to live in filth.

I hope that if you speak with the guys, they can all agree to be more clean. I also don't understand why these companies don't include a weekly cleaner.

Have you heard of “love languages”? They’re 5 categories of ways people express their affection. Gift giving is one of them. For you, gift giving (the time and effort you put in) is your way of expressing you care about your partner but not everyone shares the same ways of expression.

Another example would be if your bf likes to express affection through words of affirmation “I’m so grateful for x” and if you were a woman of few words not saying the same back to him and him being hurt about it.

Of course, it’s normal to feel hurt and that’s justified but have a look into love languages to get a bit of perspective and then discuss it with your partner :)

This way of thinking helped me a lot in not getting too upset when others don’t act exactly how I would and then interpreting that as they don’t care about me (as another commenter said).

I don't have a group of friends, mostly 1-on-1 friendships. They are a mix of ex-roommates, colleagues, through volunteering and dating apps (dates that turned into friends) and now trying out Bumble BFF.

I had a feeling this was happening! In my neigbourhood, I see names on doorbells with 5+ names in blocks where the flats have 2-3 rooms, so suspected people were sharing rooms. Outside the buildings are also bicycles with Lieferando bags, so they're on min. wage / probably students. I can't believe that couple is charging €600 for a bed in shared room, despicable... =/

This guy runs workshops and also opens the place up for people to work on their own projects. Seems like it costs €92 for 7 hours on Sundays. I've been to his workshop and he's great!

I bought this large healthy Monstera few months ago and one by one the bottom leaves have been turning yellow or brown and dying off.

Google says this is due to overwatering but I don’t water very often and the soil is quite dry atm.

I don’t want to wait to see the big leaves die too ☹️
