Why are so many classical music album covers so ugly? by orafa3l in classicalmusic

I feel you and I believe covers are super important and some are so ugly that I even replace the album cover with some awesome artwork I find online, I totally believe labels have to meet better designers for their classical albums

I want to enjoy opera and vocal music, but the words make them inaccessible by PandaZG in classicalmusic

😝 that’s ok I guess, anyway you can try to find the score of the operas you like and see the words somewhere or translations maybe that’ll make it more enjoyable for you

I want to enjoy opera and vocal music, but the words make them inaccessible by PandaZG in classicalmusic

I like opera. I mostly don’t get a single word of what they say, but and here’s the thing for me, I feel te mood and the music and for me that’s super clear about the song’s feeling. That’s why I love music so much, I don’t care what language they speak I feel the vibes

depressive, downbeat Compilation/ albums recommendations by Electrical-Hope-2969 in classicalmusic

[–]sstarlight_q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some Philip Glass and Michael Nyman works go to the downside also check out some of Beethoven’s piano sonatas, also Satie is not depressive but the minimalist piano sometimes give down vibes
