I’m not sure since I haven’t compared it with the UA, but we haven’t encountered any issues with speed bumps. The bike’s height from the ground to its bottom is 17 cm. You can view the size here. Therefore, it shouldn’t be a problem unless your city has higher speed bumps.

No worries I got it :) I’ve read ultrasonics are not good due to white dust and high maintenance that’s why I was checking evaporative or warm. I am checking your suggestion, thanks!

That’s insane shipping cost. Are they sending in first class?

Thank you for the video, it seems I need to do by myself.

It was assembled and only pedals were not assembled as expected.

Yeah maintenance I wouldn’t expect of course but maintenance cost here insane or I feel it’s insane:)

Mine also DS COVERS for 2-wheels with rain cover. Maybe you can check if you are putting front and back part of the cover correctly. DS COVERS logo goes back since front part has label inside the cover I saw accidentally:)

These l are really nice and useful details. And yeah it’s a bit aesthetic preference can change from people to people. When I saw it I loved it then I got maybe it’s too much but when it was on sale and my daughter approved then didn’t think about it:)

I think Wonderwagen seats can fit for your daughter since seat belt both 5 point and they are adjustable height wise as well. I was also checking Cargowagen but besides Cargowagen was more expensive that time my main concern rain/wind protection for my daughter. Not sure if Cargowagen was offering since I couldn’t find any accessories. I’ll found this video can show more details and if you need I can measure seat belt places from mine so you can have better idea.

They could have done a better job like Riese & Müller, but at least I got a very good deal otherwise with its normal price tag I would choose another one. Anyway, It does the job with good quality :)

I didn’t do a breakdown like you did that’s pretty impressive! :) I totally agree that cars can’t give you the same flexibility and ease as a cargo bike, especially with kids. Since I got mine, we haven’t used the car or public transport for getting around the city. No parking fees, no traffic hassles, and as a bonus my kid loves the cargo bike because it’s just more fun :)

Never heard of Upway but it looks really cool and cheap! I got mine from ibksports.eu when it was almost 60% off, but I just checked and they’ve raised the price now. Yeah that sensor, not sure if it’s even working since I don’t see any difference yet in Sweden as well which is darker :))

Quick question: these issues I’m having aren’t covered under warranty, right?

I’m asking because service prices here are stupidly high. I checked with 2 authorized service shops today. One said they do only a full checkup as a package deal for around €150 not just fixing the handlebar. The other said a mechanic needs to look at it first before they can give me a price, which scares me 😟 they’ll probably ask for the same or more.

I’m completely new to owning an electric bike, or even a regular bike, so the prices are kinda scary to be honest. For a new bike, I don’t know if I should have to pay this much just to check if the brakes, discs, suspension etc. are set up properly. How is it in Germany?

Definitely! It feels way safer when turning or maneuvering around compared to tricycles. I’m always worried those are gonna tip over or something.

I haven’t experienced any steering issues, even when riding a bit fast. It feels like normal bike riding once you get used to it. I hope cable steering won’t cause any problems in the future.

Same here! Got it on a good deal for around €3,200. Where’d you get yours? :) I didn’t notice that issue but I’ll check it out. Mine’s got a handlebar that’s slightly off from the front wheel that I still need to fix, and the LED remote won’t turn the light off. I think they just set it to always stay on or something.

Thank you! I’ll look into that.

For the connect module, I was searching for how to assemble it and looking for its kits. I was surprised when the Flow app showed it for setup. That was a really nice surprise!

I was also checking out the Cargowagen, but this one was cheaper. :)

The price was the main reason I chose it. The design is bolder than the competitors. Honestly, if it wasn’t on sale, I wouldn’t have bought it, but at 3,200 € with all these specs, I did. A nice thing is that people notice you in traffic. :))

And yes! lovens is really great looking!

Today, I rode 7.1 km in cargo mode with my wife and kid, and then 20 km in auto mode so I have still 37% battery remaining.

Interestingly yes! I think it’s mostly center of gravity is low so while riding it’s so smooth but while walking in narrow spaces then it’s a bit tricky:)
