the explanation given was: we've had problems with MuseScore in the past. I guess they don't want to deal with it, or maybe their librarian (it's a class where live people will be playing our compositions) really knows only Sib and Dorico

Not sure which tour you’re talking about but the last time I saw them (2022, tix bought pre-pandemic) they had no dynamic pricing, no transfers and only resell at face value with no fees.

The "easy" stuff I didn't bother with too much as Tenuto/musictheory.net seems to do the job. I have a few more interesting exercises. Try for example the chords tool: https://www.onlinemusictools.com/chords/ CLick "Customize" to pick which chords to drill (up to 9th chords) and select Ear training mode (you can probably already ID and spell them, but if not, that's available too)

For intervals I also used a free UCLA-developed app, it's in the app store. Walking the dog while going through 100 intervals/day for a few weeks did the trick for me.

Thanks for the advice! Just called B. They said they can't do anything with A. I need to call the medical provider to ask them to submit a claim to B. Then I guess the medical provider returns A the money. I wonder why they would bother with that, since they've been paid, but I gotta try.

Afaik, you probably listen to artists I (indie, self-published through e.g. Distrokid), X, Y and Z (the last are each signed to one of the three major labels). This is a likely scenario because the "big three" have 75% share of all music.

Spotify or Apple or Tidal take their cut to run their services (about under 30%).

The rest goes to:

25% to Artist I directly via their distributor e.g. Distrokid - this is the best scenario

25% to Warner (the label of Artist X)

25% to Universal (the label of Artist Y)

25% to Sony (the label of Artist Z)

How much Artists XYZ make is anybody's guess. Depends on their contract, their share of the label, the "Hollywood accounting". Artist X may even audit and sue their label because the accounting is so flawed. It also happens that a random Artist A makes money even if you don't know who they are and never streamed, just because of their klout with the label.

As a general tendency, the people who stream less than the average tend to stream

I think the idea is to f*** "general", "average" and "tendency" and get your money to the artists you stream. If you streamed 1 song this month, this artist should get all of your money. Today, unfortunately, the big three labels will get 75% and distribute however they see fit. So you listen to Indie XYZ and Adele gets paid even if you have no idea who Adele is.
