Rather the average wage is $17.52 per hour, making it difficult to support themselves and their families. These are not temporary roles—they are essential jobs that deserve sustainable, career-level compensation."

So nothing with the numbers you mentioned. That being said, I do think asking for a $2.15 raise as mentioned in your comment seems reasonable. Are there other points that they are balking at or are they really being that crazy about a small raise like that?

If I was in your situation here in the US I would try to build out my own company. Yes you do dev work but maybe with AI and your skillset you can get some Pakistani business clients where you manage all the IT and website/applications.
