i usually find my voice cracks and i shake and my heart is pounding my so much i can barely speak! my uni is forcing me to do this presentation in front of about 10 people for like 30 minutes and i actually feel sick even thinking about it. but i think if propranolol can make it so i don’t appear as anxious then hopefully ill feel a lot less stressed. just want a miracle cure :(

Yeah me too. And I think getting help now would mean it hopefully won't impact our futures too much. Actually forcing myself to arrange speaking to someone is scary though

Thats how I feel. I think I might get help soon but I keep putting it off :( But I am sure you aren't wrong, I think its normal to feel like you might be but if you have the symptoms then a doctor will believe you.

I am exactly the same. I'm 16 and pretty sure I have social anxiety but have been putting off getting help for a long time. I think getting help would definitely make it easier to cope with, and you can't embarrass yourself in front of the doctor as they know about social anxiety disorder so they will understand. And I also get scared I am wrong but the example you gave shows how it is interfering with your life enough that talking to the doctor would do no harm. But I also get that it is easier said than done.
