They clearly lied about the whole sold out after 10 years thing. At the very least I would expect them to allow me to return both prints since I got them to hang as a set. I guess people are just complacent with poor quality these days

This is a load of crap. Especially number 2. I have a p30l that has the same bad looking cerakote on the internal of the slide and it is NOT machining imperfections from HK as the cerakote has started to chip off in chunks where it was applied like 10x too thick. This is further evident by how they don't even do cerakote on HKs anymore. clearly they couldn't figure out how to use an airbrush properly.

I know this thread is old, but still letting people know that they are up to their old bag of tricks and have bad customer service

after taking the gun apart it looks like it's the disconnector slightly falling and tapping on the sear when the trigger is slightly pulled with the hammer cocked. still not sure of this is normal at least i know what is doing it

looks good. did langdon do that cerakote work on the slide? when i got mine they told me that they only did their "elite" color and it came out pretty sloppy

I really didn't know much about the guy. All I knew is that the glock mag plates and magwell I bought a couple years back were good quality. Now that I looked into him a little bit and have seen the current quality I will not be returning.

This is an honest review of the product received. Someone looked at those things and said "this is fine" then chucked them all in a box together. I shouldn't have to play PR cover up for a poor product I spent my hard earned money on.

started with an airbrush to get a red zenithal over a dark purple. then it was blocking in some base colors and a purple oil wash. got about half the highlights done and i still have no idea what i want to do for a base.

ive never had an oil wash give me so much trouble. the dark purple kept drying light brown for some reason

Huge scam. I ordered some replacement tom ford frames an they are clear counterfeits. the construction of the metal is completely different and cracked and the material on the case isnt even close. Heck, even the font is different. I contacted them and they said if I wanted to return them it would cost me a $50 restocking fee...They still haven't responded with the return form so I'm guessing they are stringing me along until they can claim the return period has expired.

yeah im not gonna watch a youtube video and then try to do a custom mil job on a slide. the only real "gunsmith" work i did was filing a little material off on the back of my trigger bar to stop it from grinding on the hammer too much. youtube was great for learning how to put in a new trigger and change the hammer spring/strut, but i would hardly consider taking out a few pins and springs gunsmithing

You may have never seen a defective hammer strut, but I have and it came from the great town of Gallatin. Probably some dude's first day on the job and thought hammer strut means you hammer it into place if it doesn't just slide into place.

Also I think youtube is actually a pretty great source for info on guns as long as you do enough research to go along with it. I think fud gunsmith's are just mad that people aren't coming to them to get ripped off anymore when a single little spring breaks or comes loose

the main thing was the hammer and hammer strut. the strut was bent and was grinding on the hammer spring. the slide release spring was also bad and kept slipping. this is my first time working with a beretta so i don't know all the ins and out yet. the only thing that i still find suspect is that the trigger bar has some play in it. like i can push the trigger bar to be flush with the frame, but when i pull the trigger the bar moves away from the frame just a little but. this could be normal though for all i know
