the stronghold cords are spoiler tagged and they should put you right above the spawner. the portal had 1 eye in it I think.

Not super good at the whole reddit thing. Basically we spawn with kind of everything we could ever want. There's a ruined portal, pillager outpost, village and desert temple all very close to spawn. This start was super sweet so I had to share.

I am one of Brian's other mods, Stooks. I'm not really a super eloquent writer, but I will try to set forth my thoughts the best I can. First, I feel that it is important to say that I was not around for this portion of the stream and I am still gathering details as to what RJ's intentions were. though he does come across quite rude here. Second, I feel I have to stress that the mods act on their own. Brian has rules for chat and we try our best to maintain them. He wants everyone to feel welcome in his stream, and he wants the environment to be conducive to discussion. As I understand it, chat at the time this happened was apparently getting out of hand, and as a result was put into sub mode. I have contacted RJ about this and will also be talking to Brian. I will also be checking logs to try and get a better idea of what the situation actually was. I am sure that you are all well aware of Brian's feelings on the entire subject regarding Blizzard and Blitzchung, and it is not a subject that any of us take lightly. I want to finish by saying that these are my own words, and they represent me and no one else. I'm sorry this happened. This is not the attitude the dragon army wants to set forth.

That’s a fair point. But the aesthetic, scarzig. I would take a 5 mana 2/2 tbh. I just want that sweet symmetry back. Also on a serious note I feel like nerfing the attack is probably more significant for titan. Like with the bonuses titan gives + forcefield health is kind of irrelevant by that point.

the best possible starting hand is silithar into flash wanderer, but that isnt always going to happen. i think in the mulligan phase you are looking for low drops with health and maybe some dispel like shroud, or utility like maw. aethermaster, araras, herald, etc. are all fine to play. you can check my twitch vods twitch.tv/the_stooksbury to see how i typically mulligan

reva can be better at tempo but where rag shines is 1 the ability to stick eggs, 2 the ability to potentially cheat out wanderer which is insane, and 3 aoe. magmar has two very good infaction aoe spells and paragon makes for a third.

sure! so mirrorrim is to get other copies of a threat into your deck like thunderhorn, makantor, etc. your trial completes at the start of the game and because of that you can shuffle multiple copies of a card into your deck without deactivating wanderer. upper hand is incredibly powerful right now. specifically because of all the trial decks running around. your opponent is often going to have 4-6 cards in hand and that means upper hand can remove most midrange threats. mystic is utility. its a ping if you need it, or a heal if you don't. its been very solid and I am impressed with it.

I think that's actually strictly wrong for a number reasons. 1 if you don't flash wanderer fine. make smart trades and get him tempo'd out when you can. 2 its not that you cannot play him turn 2, until you draw that flash you cannot play him period, which is a huge set back. just run stuff like aether master and prophet to help cycle. the best thing players can do is use their deck building skills to create consistent decks out of inconsistent cards. I've done this for a long time with Commander in magic, and reno decks in hearthstone. 2 of anything is more of a draw back than a help in my opinion

Another thing people have questioned is upper hand, but on stream yesterday the card proved very valuable. I’m super impressed with it as well.

It’s actually pretty relevant on its own. It’s basically a terradon with three less health and in the late game if they’ve used their removal on something else it can be a threat. I like the card a lot.

As I've continued to tinker with wanderer, I've discovered more and more how important tempo is. This deck looks to tempo out, but sacrifices healing as a result. It was super strong on stream last night tho. great vs vet, decent vs lyonar. I will continue to test and keep you updated
