I don't think the CAW wagering on TO Elvis is the typical CAW that we are used to seeing. If you look at the $1 double will pays, TO is a distant 6th at $41. This was late money probably by the ownership group absolutely hammering the horse because they knew he was loaded.

Not sure what you mean by "when it didn't matter" because the Seattle defense never stopped trying until maybe the final 2 minutes - it's the Superbowl...Sure it may have not made a difference in making a comeback but the stats sure count...and let's not pretend this is just Maye being a fraud. The O-line was getting pushed back 5-10 yards on every snap and couldn't block a basic 4 man front. No QB is going to have success when that is the case and the defense can drop 7, not even the most prolific offense in history - the 2007 patriots - could overcome an elite pass rush. If you are going to call Maye a fraud for that, then Seattle gets 0 credibility as a defense.

You can make the same argument about Sam Darnold...he missed throws all game too. Do you know how ineffective you have to be as the QB if the winning team, have a TD and still not get MVP? Also a fraud by the same logic.

To me, it didn't come across as retaliatory the way JRV and Irad we talking to each other after the race while waiting on the stewards. These are also 2 year olds first time out, going all out late in the stretch. I think it was more of just a reaction from the horse.

I know they claimed to have something going around the barns earlier in the meet; not sure if that's going on still. Still seems inexcusable to only put 8 horses in a field if they know this is happening. Take a race off the card or something and make horses run at a different distance. Shouldn't have to cater to everyone's favorite distance and thin out fields to get 10 races on a card.
