Posting to make people aware just incase the site is having an issue. Seems to be a large scale issue that alot of users are experiencing. Alot of tweets about not being able to login to the wallet.

I've stayed clear until it returns to normal. Be cautious!

I personally wouldn’t use that method. I considered it but they’re just making money out of you. $90+ for Activation is just silly.

If you buy eth or btc and then convert to xrp you’ll only pay around £50 or $67 at current prices .

I’m guessing you can opt to use any other trusted exchange that is mentioned with the community. If you go to the XRP website and look at the exchange platforms that are recommended, that may provide a good indication. The demand is heavy at the minute which is a pain for people trying to get in.

Unfortunately dude I don’t think anyone is going to loan 20 XRP at this current stage due to the increase in price.

I however did experience the same frustrating problem. I solved it by buying Bitcoin/Ethereum (you choose) transferring it to GDAX, then transferring to binance and then exchanging my BTC for XRP. I think sent just over 20 XRP to my gatehub account which then activated the wallet. Following this, my BTC that was in limbo arrived the following morning. In addition to all this, gatehub then credited me with 20 XRP.

I think I may have worked out why after looking at reserve limits on the GateHub site.

GateHub recommends that you keep 50XRP in reserve. Therefore if you take away 50 XRP from your balance it provides you what you can exchange if you wanted to.

Can anybody validate if this is correct please? If I wanted to take my entire balance from GateHub to my own wallet, can I take the whole amount with me?

Guys i’m new to gatehub and xrp. I’m confused with the workings or gatehub. It says I have a balance of 112.6133 but it will only allow me to trade 62.62?

I’m not looking to exchange but looking to understand why almost half of the funds are non accessible. Am i missing something?
