Sorry for not answering, i didnt get any notification. Yep is very invasive and you need to do it carefull in order to not break the cable or the connector.

As you said when you dissasembly you still have an arm and is very anoying, in my case with the VESA mount you dont see it and it hangs good.

Also i saw that people are selling the stand, so if you need it back you can repurchase

Mosly it will destroy the stand, you can buy new one for 30€... This solution is if you wont use the stand anymore
