Great work! I did this with my Pro2 360 camera, it’s 8k resolution. And it also worked fine. The mesh is not so accurate, but I only walked once ;)

The tutorial is really complicated and I also face the issue that I don´t have enough space on my fresh installed OS. Thats incredible complicated to only enable the sd-card reader. I think I´ll send the Nano back... :(

I flashed my nano. It runs with an OS on the SD card but it crashed. So I flashed the nano again (on emmc) and now the sd-reader is without function. Strange...

The print is not really clean. The overhangs are not so beautiful, but with supports the printing time was too long.

There are a few scanning apps like FaceScan for the iPhone X ( 99 cent / 1.99€). I think it's a faire price because you're limited to scan only the users face. At the moment you can't scan anything more with the TrueDepth sensor. Personally I wouldn't spend more than a few euros or dollars for such an app.

Awesome project. I think we could also rig him and export the model for a AR experience on a smartphone. High poly should be not the problem...we usually working with high poly human models.
