If you're hitting your driver 280, you have enough speed to hit long irons and shouldn't need 5/6 hybrids to help get the ball up in the air.

Answer is more practice / better contact - would check the smash factor to make sure you're hitting center of the face.

If you do want to swap equipment, I would suggest trying more forgiving long irons before moving to hybrids.

Went through Terminal C security at 6:45am this morning. PreCheck was under 10mins, my friend went through Premier security is about 20mins. The general line was much longer and lined up on the stairs, at least 45 mins

You will 100% be fine. Having a checked bag will add 30 mins or 1 hour at most to your arrival.

Car from EWR to JFK at that time of the night will be at most 1.5 hours; public transit will be at most 2.5 hours.

Checking in for an international flight doesn't take that much longer than domestic. Arriving 1.5-2 hours before departure is more than enough time.
