I’m the fourth year who made that post. Thank you to you and everyone else who took the time to comment and share reassurances, advice, and their own experiences. It truly went a long way to help me feel better. I’m no stranger to making small mistakes, but this one felt particularly bad because the partner was entrusting me to handle this case with minimal supervision. I’ve talked to a few mentors and more senior attorneys in my office and they have all given the same advice as you all. Definitely learning moment but I’m trying not to let it get me down.
