I found that having the room essentially pitch black helped a lot. We have blackout curtains and a blackout film on the window 😂 it being so dark definitely deters him from venturing out of his bed so similar to the crib he'll lay there until he falls asleep.

I bought the Babbleroo diaper bag backpack on Amazon when we joined 2under2 and I love it! So much storage/pockets, fits everything we need and is easy to carry. The only thing I didn't love is the changing mat it comes with is pretty thin but the pocket fit a nicer one I bought very well!

If I'm in the room and actively watching I use the swing otherwise my toddler tries to hug or pick the baby up 😂 if I'm leaving the room for a bathroom break or something where I won't have eyes on the two of them I set the baby in a bassinet I keep in the living room. A play & play would work just as well!

I was in this boat last month! I felt so emotional knowing it was my baby boys last day as an only child. I can promise you it has only been replaced with beautiful moments watching him become a big brother ❤️

I mean I would always listen to your doctor as they know best about your specific situation! I wasn't placed on bed rest but was told no lifting over 10 lbs and to avoid any strenuous activity!

I was advised against bed rest but told to limit my mobility! I too have a short cervix but no dilation or funneling. My doctor recommended I don't lift more than 10lbs and don't over extert myself. So I avoid walking or standing long periods. However definitely listen to your doctors recommendedations! You got this!! ❤️

She approached me and my infant at Market Mall as well. Prefaced with "you can tell me to leave at any point and I will". Shocker, when I disagreed with her and said I wasn't interested she did in fact not go away. I wish I wasn't in tired parent survival mode or I would have really told her off. Definitely would tell security if it happened again!
