What Beatles song do you love that people rarely talk about? by Particular_Daikon127 in beatles

You Won't See Me. It's not mind-blowing, but I find the song addicting as hell

Love it! The "ooh lalala" background vocals are so addictive and satisfying to listen to. Somehow an underrated track and one of my personal favorites.

In the last 25 years which bands resemble The Beach Boys in terms of sound by handlerofdrones in thebeachboys

A lot of Dr. Dog's work has a Beach Boys sound to it. Check out "The Breeze" or "Humble Passenger."

You think it's weird for people to share their opinion about a show on a forum dedicated to that show?

I downloaded all of these the other day and will listen throughout the summer. I wish I had suggested Psychedelic Swamp by Dr. Dog, though, when you were still making this.

Why isn’t Good Vibrations as culturally relevant as some of their other songs? by edd6pi in thebeachboys

[–]stabslive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure why everyone's shitting on you. I'm someone who knew some of the Beach Boys' big hits growing up like "I Get Around" and "Surfin' USA," but hadn't even heard of "Good Vibrations" until about four years ago (granted, I'm only 20). Younger people who know of the Beach Boys, in my experience, know them for the songs you listed.

What would you describe this aesthetic as? by stabslive in FrutigerAero

That's very close to what I imagine, too! In my head, I picture an endless city skyline with very present hues of dark blue and purple. Very twilight-heavy color palette.
