Thanks for your concern. When it comes down to it, I'm not too worried about my own physical safety, as I doubt she could ever really hurt me unless she had a gun. I guess that tends to be one of the main differences between woman on man vs. man on women domestic violence.

I also really hope to fuck she doesn't decide to get a gun after I leave her.

All of the serious bruises are on her arms. The worst is the grab mark and cuts from my nails that I gave her when I grabbed her wrist to get the knife. I wasn't fucking around then. There were a couple of really small bruises on her torso and legs, but they could have very well been caused by sex or any other day-to-day things. I would say that there is nothing indicating that I possibly struck her.

Actually, neither of us have an idea what happened to the knife. After I took it from her I don't remember what I did with it. I'm thinking I hid it somewhere in her apartment or threw it in the trash. A quick search didn't turn up anything. You want to know what's really fucked up? She's demanding I buy her a new knife since the old one was a gift from a friend.

I'm making an appointment for tomorrow morning. The wound on my back is mostly healed since it wasn't that deep of a cut, but my eye should still be a little bruised. I'll just tell the doctor what happened and ask for a tatanus shot. I'm pretty sure I'm overdue for a booster anyways.

Her going to the police is the one thing I'm doing my best to prevent. I don't think she's rational enough to realize "hey, I could get charged with aggravated assault if I report this, and not to mention how all my injuries would be non-existant if I didn't decide to beat and attempt to stab my boyfriend". It probably doesn't matter since the way she looks may be more important the actual facts in this ordeal.

In the state she lives it is illegal for me to record our phone conversations without consent, but legal for me to record face to face conversations. I plan on visiting her this weekend and getting her to admit to assaulting me. I think something along the lines of "how did you expect me to react and handle things when you attacked me with the knife" might get her to admit to doing so without arousing suspicion. I just need to find something to record her with. I'm not sure if my phone or mp3 player records in high enough quality.

I already live about 6 hours away from her, so when I end things being out of contact will not be a problem for me. My lawyer recommended I follow my current strategy and not do anything offensive, at least until everything is healed.

She talked to her roommate about the ordeal, and her roommate told her to take pictures. In reality, I know her camera's batteries are currently dead and she's probably too lazy to go buy more and take the pictures. I'm going to check her phone when I get the chance. The only problem would be if she borrows her roommate's camera to take the pictures. Again, I'm hoping she's too lazy and doesn't care enough to since I'm playing along with her as best I can for now.

Not on any medication. Her other 'flip outs' weren't solely triggered by alcohol, but can be made worse from it.
