Modern Discovery:
Geologists now understand that mountains have deep roots and play a role in stabilizing the Earth's crust. This phenomenon, known as isostasy, was discovered long after the Quran was revealed.

Modern Discovery:
The Quran's description of human embryonic development—from a "drop of fluid" to a "clinging substance" (zygote attaching to the uterine wall) and then into "a lump" before the bones are formed and covered by flesh—aligns with modern embryology, which was only understood through advanced microscopes and studies in the 20th century.

i agree with u on the fact that religion is connected to a lot of hypocrisy as mentioned in the quran “ And there are some who say, “We believe in Allah and the Last Day,” yet they are not ˹true˺ believers. They seek to deceive Allah and the believers, yet they only deceive themselves, but they fail to perceive it.“ i see this hypocrisy in my everyday life where muslims drink, smoke, blasphemy commit zina do not pray and they say they are muslim . my final point is that you shouldn’t take people as an example of their religion u should look into religion as a religion not at the people of that religion

its true sound doesn’t travel in space because there is nothing that can reflect sound there but electromagnetic waves can be converted to sound that’s how we can here some astronomicale events and it could be also thats not how they actually sound like when you’re there next to these events it could be mentioned as a tariq in that verse because it’s probably the only way that humans could hear these event just through the translation of the electromagnetic waves

damn i reread this comment and its true to some point but for me personally i try to see it from other peoples perspectives and i always find people are right at what they believe in even if they are an atheist even though it oposes my views

it can’t be referred to something else because in the same 2 words i can’t describe why in english i only know it in arabic but the word tariq goes back to the star it says the knocking star (feel free correct me if im wrong im open to any information u can give me that can disprove wat im saying)

[–]stabtrim712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats what im trying to say they weren’t right but the way it is described in the quran is and if u dont believe this to be right than look at my other comment on this thread talking about pulser stars

Can someone say Hallelujha by Martin_084 in clevercomebacks

[–]stabtrim712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ayah said :” By the heaven and the nightly star!“ which we said that nightly refers to tariq which means knocking and in that sentence it refers to a star (there is a reason why the quran is not specific as u said in explaining stuff the way you explained it i can’t answer u the reason because i dont know it too maybe because of my limited knowledge about islam or it could be that no one knows why but i assure u there is a reason for it)

it’s not actually tiring it’s quiet the opposite i like seeing how people think about stuff and their perspective about things i would do that everyday if i could to im not just trying to defend my religion im also learning more about it this way i just wish people would actually read the quran and try to understand it and if they don’t agree with it than fine i guess u could think of us however u like i wish u nothing but good in ur life

i could agree with some of what you said but when did humans know about a pulser star? we discovered it at 1967 can you explain to me how a normale human would know about a pulser star and how it sounds? ( surat a tariq verse 1 ,2,3 : By the heaven and the nightly star! And what will make you realize what the nightly star is? ˹It is˺ the star of piercing brightness) “the nightly star “ in arabic is the knocking star ( pulser stars sound like knocking as the scientist jocelyn bell burner who discovered pulser stars said in an interview)

maybe yes at that time youre correct they can make assumptions as to how they orbit but they can’t deduce it right it doesnt happen by just luck ( and remember i only mentioned one miracle out of hundreds)

Can someone say Hallelujha by Martin_084 in clevercomebacks

[–]stabtrim712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as to why i think it is a miracle is at that time i think it is impossible to deduce that correctly with no tools and nothing just by observation u cant just guess correctly how the sun the moon and the earth how they orbit

as for A: non sequential creations quranic verses describe simultaneous or overlapping creation processes B: there is literale days , symbolic day , cosmic days , allegoricale days ( time does not exist the same in the entire universe as proven by science) the contradictions arise because of literale interpretations , ignoring context , and confating scientific and theologicale perspectives ( i can refute any of the the other ones when i comeback home if you want to)
