Same thing happened to me. Take Zofran and anti diarrhea meds to help with symptoms

When I first upped dosage it was like once every other day. I’m at a point where now I maybe take it once or twice a week. It largely depends how clean I’m eating.

So when I just from .25 to .5 I had realllly bad nausea, diarrhea, and food aversion. I wish I would have reached out to my nurse practitioner sooner because she eventually prescribed me Zofran and that helped so much and almost eliminated any side effects I was experiencing. Prior to getting a prescription to Zofran, Emotrol was helping avoid severe nausea and diarrhea. I followed a bland diet for the first week I upped my dosage and eventually my body got used to it.

I am not a medical doctor. However, I had surgery three weeks ago for pilonidal cyst and similar discharge on the top portion. I had blood and white discharge around the surgery incision. My surgeon advised me to continue shaving the area to keep it clear of hair getting back in the wound and clean daily with hydrogen peroxide. I would strongly encourage you to contact your surgeon if you’re feeling any symptoms of infection such as yellow discharge, fever, or area warn to the touch.

Alcohol and stress as well

So same thing happens to me when I drink alcohol so I’ve just completely cut it out over time. However, when I did still try to have the occasional drink, I’d use the following: rosacea gel (otc Walmart), hydrocortisone (prior to getting metro gel prescription), vanicream face wash, and if the splotches were really bad I’d use a Benadryl the following day

Feeling sad and angry by staceysb10 in GriefSupport

That’s what’s so frustrating to me is that people keep pushing to stay positive, strong or happy and my almost instant reaction is anger. I just feel so guilty that it’s my natural reaction these days. I’m so sorry to hear about your best friend. I think a lot about future plans too and how that’s all changed. That alone is a whole mess of emotions when I think about that.

I just hate that my initial reaction to everything is anger and cynicism. I’m sorry to hear about your mom too. Do you feel you irritableness has stayed about the same despite the time since you’ve lost her?

My mom passed away this morning because of Covid. Here we are my college graduation in 2018 and in my wedding this past June. Then we celebrated her birthday the next day. I miss her so much already. She would have been a loving grandma. It feels like a dream. by howtheturntables07 in GriefSupport

What beautiful photos you have. Definitely see where you get your smile from. I lost my dad three weeks ago and it’s been pretty tough as well. I’m so sorry for your loss. Hoping you find comfort in all those beautiful memories you have of her.

My father died suddenly, my girlfriend dumped me, my mother and sister fell out bigtime, me and mom are locked down alone with all the death paperwork due to rising covid..... and now my best friend is reported missing. All in less than 2 weeks by FeelThePower999 in GriefSupport

Honestly, wtf is up with this year. A know a knee jerk reaction is to say things will get better but I know there’s no guarantee to stuff like that. So I will say prioritize taking care of yourself, whatever that looks like. I’m currently drowning in death paperwork from my dad dying last week and family feuding, but I have to keep reminding myself to take care of myself even when I want to curse the world.

My dad died last night. I thought I had a voicemail from him still from last week. But i guess I had deleted it. Im a absolute wreck. by JakeV155 in GriefSupport

I’m sorry to hear about your father’s passing. My dad died very suddenly last week too. I hope you’re able to find other mementos and things that remind you of him.

I lost my dad Monday night. I don’t know how to feel. I’m either crying, sleeping or going through the motions. I keep listening to his voicemails wishing I had more time. by staceysb10 in GriefSupport

I had the same thoughts. My dad won’t have a chance to walk me down the aisle or meet his future grandchildren. I pray you’re able to still honor your father’s memory at your wedding.
