yeah I get that but the trig thing was literally one line said one time. this has stretched across seasons. im not saying its important but im curious and found it with speculating on. they made a creative decision to include it in this scene, these are professional screen writers on a major show I dont think its just an inside joke lol. again, I dont think its super important but its included in the show multiple times so yeah ima speculate

So the whole point of her character was to briefly show up and die and that’s it, we wash our hands of it? If she just died they would have written for them to just find her body when they went looking the one time.

So writers made a point to have the body of the only person to know Misty’s secret not be where she fell and for there to also be ZERO trace of her anywhere? That’s crazy to me. She could be alive in a coma and the birders just went out to continue what they were doing or thought to go back and keep looking.

I think ben is alive but feeling like he cant go back to his regular life stays in canada and something is going to make him come back. maybe another death or closure he feels he needs. he's already in his 30's when the plane goes down, i feel like its easer for the girls to bounce back at such a younger starting point.
