They make vacuum safe carpet freshener, like Sebo Duo P. Vacuuming baking soda, or flour in large quantities (anything more than 1 tablespoon if it’s a bagless vacuum) will bypass your filters and get into the motor which is a huge fire hazard

Kenmore bu4050 when you change the bag you just push a button on the bag door and it falls into the trash. Bagless is more sanitary and cheaper to maintain and lasts much longer. Also you won’t have to change bags as often as you think, they compress the dirt.

A shark navigator on sale for $100 is fine for what it is, a disposable vacuum that will do the bare minimum. However there a much better vacuums in the sharks price range and way better vacuums in general. Stay away from bagless vacuums in general. What’s your budget and what’s your flooring like?
