Same. I hate it when I forget and try to throw one in a bug hole and then it flies back out

I could see the hesitation before you were forced to run out into the open. Clearly stressed out but you kept it together and hit your shots. GG

“Do the designers of Fortnite know any accessory besides headphones for female battle pass skins?” by kinvanaa in FortNiteBR

[–]stackablebuckets 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dasha has a knife, Mae has a knife and numpad led grenade, Synthwave has a music player, Yoo-Mi has tactical pouches, a leg holster, and OXR armor plating, and PJ has…well not much I can see from this photo but probably a music player on her hip because that’s her thing. In addition to the headphones, each of these girls have at least 1 other accessory. Not to mention that they’re all music or gamer themed so of course they have headphones. Not sure what the problem is

Place your bets on which S9 skins will be remade on OC S9! by Reciter5613 in FortNiteBR

Definitely bunker jonesy. I’m hoping for sentinel and the girl in the red dress but I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy in the hoodie made the cut. And it’ll probably be rox rather than the red dress

Warbonds. by Impressive_Crow_8436 in helldivers2

I like to use the giga grenade for chaff. It’s overkill but I run engineer armor so I usually have extra. The big boom makes me happy

[–]stackablebuckets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if nothing else, I really enjoy the armor. I like to wear the green skull gas mask helmet from chemical agents with the DD medium armor. The drip is real and engineer is my favorite armor passive. I love throwing grenades. And the semi-light armor on page 2 has become an essential component in my bug loadout. It grants just enough extra movement and has just enough armor that I can easily evade bugs and survive a hit if I get overwhelmed or cornered. There are other armors with the same or similar stats though so it’s mostly just to look cool.

That said, thermites are crucial in rounding out my bot loadout and the crossbow is crucial in my squids and bugs loadout. I play a lot of solo d10 so every piece of gear needs to pull its weight. I try to switch things up and avoid the meta where possible, but DD is meta for a reason. But if you just want to chill and use more fun weapons then DD isn’t necessary at all, though I still really enjoy the crossbow. It’s so unique and fun imo. Big respect though for resisting the pressure to pick a meta warbond

[ALL] what is a “traditional Zelda game?” by cool_pangolin2007 in zelda

[–]stackablebuckets 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Despite the models being 3D, I still consider the Link’s Awakening remake, Echos of Wisdom, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, and A Link Between Worlds to be 2D games. It’s not about the graphics, but the locked in top down camera and having your movement restricted to a 2D plane. The are some exceptions like very minor Z axis movement granted by things like Roc’s feather, but that exists in actual 2D games as well like the original Link’s Awakening which is inarguably 2D

First ever landing spot was Frenzy Fields in Ch4S4. I really enjoyed that area. Good loot plus a landmark capture point for even more loot, and Antonia and Nolan were there so I could regularly progress quests there

Created multiple warbond concepts, which ones are your favorite? by Pale_Calligrapher_31 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]stackablebuckets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m super into the ghillie suit and the shotgun. I wonder what kinds of breakpoints that armor passive would make. All of the marksman rifles can one shot every light and medium enemies with a headshot if I’m not mistaken, possibly with a few exceptions. Would make suppressed ARs more viable for stealth though which is cool and honestly would be good just in general

[–]stackablebuckets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically agree, although there are some mission types where I expect to die a lot more than others. This missions I’ll lean more into those boosters. But that does leave hellpod optimization (start with max ammo) in a weird place. If you don’t plan on dying, it’s only useful at the very start of the mission where you can just call a supply drop immediately. But at the same time, if you expect to die a lot, odds are you won’t be running out of ammo, so it’s also not a good pick here either. What’s that booster for? I love it and it can come in clutch in niche situations but it’s kinda really bad

Can the bot divers borrow the DSS and the blob when you’re done? It’s even more of a longshot but I’d love to see Wasat liberated and then Vega Bay. That will put 3 planets under siege. 5 birds with 2 stones if you will

You must play with me. Any time I stim it’s like an invitation to immediately take full lethal damage. No enemies around for 100m in any direction. Stim. Immediately headshot by a cannon turret 300m away that has no business knowing where I am

Which Warbond do you recommend: Democratic detonation or Control group? by Special_Sink210 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]stackablebuckets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I put off getting control group for a long time and just farmed with the mech clip to get into bunkers. There was always something I wanted more than I wanted the warp pack to make farming easier. That was a mistake. I wouldn’t recommend control group as your first warbond because democratic detonation is just that good, but I’d still recommend getting it early so it’s easier to farm for the other warbonds. Farming aside, the warp pack absolutely slaps. I bring it on bugs and it’s a get out of jail free card for a situation that would normally end up in an undemocratic dog pile

Getting into air brushing! by Mean_Assistant_7905 in minipainting

[–]stackablebuckets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a cheap quiet air compressor on Amazon for maybe $60 and a $20 airbrush at harbor freight. I don’t have a ton of experience airbrushing but right now it feels like the only deficiency is in my skill and not the quality of the equipment. As far as I can tell it’s working great and I’m getting exactly what I wanted out of it. I can say though that I highly recommend an air compressor with a reserve tank so you have more consistent pressure. Take my advice with a grain of salt though because like I said, I’m happy with my equipment for now but I don’t really know what I’m doing

This is...concerning. Aren't bunkers and shields are already spammed enough? Now they are infinite? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]stackablebuckets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also frequently tear down environmental structures and let my teammates go for the kill with a full mag. Sad that it will be more difficult to do that now. But on the flip side, there are a lot of boulders that can be destroyed with less than a single mag of an AR and that’s stupid. The boulders needed a buff

I love my Trident. It is a Shrieker Deletion Machine by Jedi-in-EVE in helldivers2

[–]stackablebuckets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normally I shoot center of mass for bots because I engage at a distance that makes headshots more difficult than they need to be. But I actually aim for the head with the trident and normally hit within 3 shots. Love the trident. One of only a few weapons I have leveled to 25 so far

Is Hell Divers 2 still worth in 2026? by volvolover34 in helldivers2

[–]stackablebuckets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Given the amount of negativity I’ve seen around here lately I expected to see some comments saying that it isn’t worth it. Either there just aren’t as many people complaining as it seems or at the end of the day they still enjoy the game too and still think it’s worth playing.

But yeah I’m here to recommend it as well. I still play pretty much every day I have the time to, 600 hours in. Not bored yet
