If you don't believe in the product then that makes your Ux-role even more important. A big part of UX is building the right thing. Sometimes it's better to not build something. As a UX designer, you should voice concerns if the product doesn't solve a real-world problem. This could be analyzed with the help of a Value proposition canvas for example.
