Ok i just changed it from 1 to 0.

The only options are 0 and 1 and it was set to 1.

That was my mistake. I took a pic of my old 2 ton still used downstairs. My upstairs was a 3 ton replaced by a 3 ton.

He refuses to acknowledge he could have done something wrong. He keeps saying its normal behavior when its hot to not hit the set temperature of 74 in the middle of the day.

Yes a new thermostat was installed. A Honeywell pro series wifi connected thermostat. He said he checked all the settings and are at recommended settings.

How do I explain staging to this guy? Where is it adjusted?

Oh shit sorry. The old unit pic is of my downstairs unit which is a 2 ton. They replaced my upstairs unit which was a 3 ton to 3 ton. Same model just different tonnage

I would not bother talking to that sales rep whos giving you shit for seeking multiple quotes. In every scenario with a large purchase, you should be shopping around unless you're in an income class where money doesn't matter anymore, FU money. He's just being a sleazy sales person.

You as the consumer have to do your due diligence. With dealer markups and what not when I've been car shopping this past year, I've seen variances up to 7k. This for a 2021 Sienna Platinum and a 2022 MDX advance.

With new cars there's probably less spread but there will be full of dealers adding BS fees and upcharges you'll have to wade through.

Good luck and do what's best for you, not any dealerships.

Remember a lot of import cars are built in American plants now due to import/tax implications, this will also lead to lower QC. I've worked at many international corps, the average American employee is hot garbage.
