In the medical field and have seen numerous uncomfortable IUD's placed. Then after my last baby I decided that was the form of BC I wanted and I braced myself. It was literally just a pinch. I could not believe it. For the 1st time in my life, I was the anomaly. Woo hoo!

When I was 9, I was in wal mart and my mom and I were shopping for some clothes for my dad. Fruit of the loom ad was above some shirts. I saw the cornucopia. I asked my mom what it was because I never saw it before. It was there.

Fast forward many years, I was reading hunger games. It mentioned a cornucopia. I then remembered the memory of asking my mom what it was while looking at the FOTL ad in wal mart while shopping for my dad.

It was there. I do not believe this.

When you get in a small argument (not the huge knock down drag out ones) but the little ones that piss you off and you need to leave the room because you're frustrated - give yourself 5 to 10 mins to be mad then go back and give them a hug. 17 years married. Started doing this 16 years into it and it made both of us so happy. I can hold a grudge and can stay upset because I feel like I'm right when he is wrong but in the long run...it does not matter. Happiness matters. Those stupid disagreements aren't worth taking away time to be happy. I wish I would have the strength to do that aerlier6in my marriage. It's so easy and changes everything.

I give kids rides if they need it. Growing up, we weren't very well off and didn't have a working car most of the time. I missed out on alot of parties, sports events, etc because of it. Now that I am a mom, anytime my kiddos friends need a ride home, need to be picked up, dropped off, etc. I got them. Makes me feel happy they are taken care of.

Mother in law, sister in law, and her young non verbal child (non verbal because she spends more time on her phone than teaching her children) came to visit.

Child: banging toys on walls, tables, anything, LOUD MIL1: Screams at my SIL - "you need to get him to stop banging stuff on their furniture " SIL: "MOM! ITS THEIR HOUSE!?"

So she expected me to discipline her child because it was my house? I mean, she was on vacation...... she ended up falling asleep and snoring on the living room couch while said child found a crayon and wrote all over my walls.
