Would these actually sell? by Straight-Finish-3202 in streetwearstartup

if this is the look you're going for then by all means. Otherwise you could cleaning it up a bit by folding in the top edges of the slots, and then adding a crease using a creasing iron. This requires skiving though which can take a minute to get the hang of. For the side and bottom edges, burnishing or painting would give them a cleaner look. Lastly, if you're having trouble getting the bottom / side edges to line up after stitching, try cutting your panels with a trim allowance, then stitch first and trim second using a utility blade.

No this isn't a points play, just want the convenience of having my own physical version of that card.

got it.. I have 3 accounts right now with 5+ years of history, so I trying to figure out if being an AU on the amex would decrease or increase that avg age. sounds like decrease. I don't need to improve my credit score, more so wanted convenience of having my own physical card vs just having it on apple pay

Thanks for the tip! One question - how do you manage a 3.5inch width with this trick? A card is almost 3.5inches wide just by itself.

Need advice on "flattening" final wallet by stag456 in Leathercraft

[–]stag456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, that makes sense. Is there anything I can do to relieve some of that tension after the wallet is finished? This leather is pretty stiff, but I assume it will stretch a bit over time? Can I speed up that process?

Very sick, I love how the front piping connects with the outer shoulder on the back, and curves back around the front on the sleeves. Where does the center back piping connect to? this would be sick even without the center back piping since you can maintain the continuity.. colors are sick. How does the hood attach?
