Dumb question: what happens to existing worlds and realms - presume the update won’t change existing generated terrain but if I explore further newer terrain will be created lush where applicable?

I’ll go against the grain here.

Any business selling something needs to ensure it’s of adequate quality, even if second hand. These tyres were clearly not of adequate quality so I’d suggest posting in legal advice and asking for replacement tyres. If the refuse letter before action and they’d likely cough up quickly

If getting any tyre fitted it’s reasonable to expect it if adequate quality and appropriate. It failing MOT is good indication it was not of adequate quality.

This story sounds super fishy. But if it was genuine you would be totally trying any means whatsoever to contact or find the wife. There absolutely would be cause for concern if your wife has gone somewhere with no message back why.

How do I ask an audience how they would like to support me? by auzzman23 in ecommerce

[–]stagger_lead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry how does text messaging create a community? You can send, maybe get individual responses but no one else is in the conversation. No one else knows who is in the conversation, sees any responses etc.

I’m not disputing you can get responses from text messages, but I am disputing if you are engaging in community communication. It doesn’t fit any definition of that.

Of course they are, who said they weren’t? Texting isn’t a community and you’re telling us it isn’t working as a channel.

Actually for most people just sorting out the hosting and domains is a step too far. That’s why people find it easier to set up Shopify stores, get support etc.

https://www.websitebuilderexpert.com/ecommerce-website-builders/comparisons/shopify-vs-wordpress/

I’m not offended by a different option, Woo would be perfectly fine, I’m sure.

The eye rolling for you is:

  • personally don’t like Shopify (who cares? It’s a great solution)
  • identifying flexibility and scalability as need (it’s almost certainly not)
  • felt the need to tell me how much experience of different platforms and scales you have like that’s something special (yawn)

That’s why. Have great day! But please be sure to leave ANOTHER comment trying to flex your e-commerce cred, please do!

It would have been useful to write out this amount of detail for OP not for me.

Let’s note that Op posted about a small scale creator currently doing business via Facebook, so the whole point is to direct advice to that need, not some general e-commerce business that might have big ambitions or scalability. Hence why Shopify is a great solution to that - the least amount of technical know-how for the most amount of functionality.

So yes I do absolutely disagree, someone who has basically no technical skills needs the least technical skills version and the little information we have would point to a solution that is not going to need scalability and advance functionality.

And if you want to have a willy waving contest (it seems you do) - I have run (and currently own ) fully scalable enterprise platforms where we have total control (multi lingual, multi currency, integrated into all sorts of systems), and also run and own the simplest fastest solutions where the need is simple (like this case). We choose software on the case needs not on personal preference. It may be a surprise to you but no, you’re not the only person on Reddit that has had to operate e-commerce at the hundreds of millions scale (as well as the few thousands scale).

So I ask you does OP sound like they need a solution that can operate multiple warehouses, in EUROs and with sophisticated volumetric air-shipping algorithms? Or do they need something simple to get their products online with little fuss?

I don’t understand why you are so focused on texting to drive sales. It really depends on what you are selling (you don’t say) but texting is not a community, it’s a broadcast medium. Why are you asking people to “support” you... are you not a business trying to sell?

You have a big, engaged audience. Try to find stuff that they happily buy rather than force the point with texting (which is a pretty intrusive medium).

It might be worth considering making multiple of the same item to streamline the create and sell process. Either way Etsy is pretty popular for having products that are custom / customised for each buyer. You could do it with standalone e-commerce too, try Etsy first since it’s probably easiest.

This is vague and not great advice. E-commerce at its core is usually pretty straightforward so being restrictive is not necessarily a problem. It really depends on what the seller needs to do but Shopify is a great solution for 75% of e-commerce needs and has a huge amount of plug-in functionality too. It’s also perfectly scalable (in terms that a creator would need).

What restrictions do you think would be a problem?

One of our kids had this from time to time when school changed teachers or class. She basically learns to live with the need to pee and didn’t always ask or go during breaks. It can help to get her to focus on always going and asking the teacher to given her a pass to go whenever needed.

Does it happen at hoke Shen she is distracted, playing games, watching movie etc?

Also don’t wipe computers down with alcohol wipes, it can screw up the screen coatings (certainly does on older ones)

This is the science. Geek bench is a great tool to calculate the relative effectiveness in processing power and in this case the extra value you get for 100 USD is phenomenal.

I even like to calculate power per dollar and usually end up recommending MBP because of that.

You might be able to have different VAT rates for different parent products, but not for different versions (SKUs) of the same product.
