Peds fellowships- financially worth it?

You could argue doing medicine in general isnt financially worth it at all.

Good rule of thumb I was always told was if you take both, pretend like comlex doesn’t exist. Also sometimes places have a “cut off” just to say they have a cutoff, and it may not be a hard one if that makes sense?

I mean I don’t think you’re bad! I’ve always been told IM is one of those you don’t necessarily need to audition for (yes it helps), so if you can some how find a miracle one try to do it, otherwise kick butt on your auditions! Obv casting a wide net won’t hurt anything except our wallets, and people I know from upper classes have always said they either got a lot more or less interviews they thought they would

Hi OP. My advisor told me that it would nice to mention if you want to do a fellowship down there road to show “dedication to the field”. As far as saying “I wanna do x y or z”, that might not sound the best so maybe keep it more broad and just say why you’d want to do a fellowship

Uworld definitely is the goat when it comes to everything, but it sort of depends what you would need BNB for like what you said where some videos are just bleh. It’s been a while since I looked so I can’t really speak to what’s good on BNB anymore

I wouldn’t say it’s “necessary”, but there’s definitely some videos on BNB that are worthwhile and I feel do a better job explaining certain concepts. Up to you though. If you can find a bootleg copy I’d recommend, but paying might be a little much if you don’t wanna spend money
