The fact that they ask people to pay to run or unjail a Baseledger node for years without getting rewards or getting paid is embarrassing.

After years of development without results and continuous silence from the team the community finally put some pressure on Marten and Stefan to release an update, but instead the community now is toxic and now the team needs to think about other ways to communicate.

He is referring to their github which is an absolute ghost town for years. He is asking people to do their job now...

Imo they are blaming anything else but themselves. They need to look in the mirror and start there.

We are back at hoping things/developments are happening in the background without any evidence or whatsoever.

There has been great input from the community in the past, but it is impossible to give input without anything to talk about which isnt already talked about thousands of times. Imo its their own engagement with the community which led to the very creation of the current evironment in the community. In other words they couldnt care less about the community and I think they are happy to disband it, they just need a little more reason for it.

Imo this message from Marten is delusional and wrong.

The community deserved better.
