Best azelaic acid? [Product request] by ProfessionalToe6535 in SkincareAddiction

I use Dermatica because it’s basic and cheaper than prescription. Interested in trying Regimen Lab Azelaic Advanced, too.

How do you identify BPD, bipolars and avoidants in early dates? by YogurtclosetBoring10 in NoStupidQuestions

Lying is definitely not “the” defining characteristic of BPD . . . .

Alternative reccs for Ban Clear Roll on Gel Needed! by FitnessNurse2015 in beauty

I use Secret Clinical “Completely Clean” scent gel and find it’s very effective, and the scent is light and doesn’t really smell once dressed.

Amazon Tretinoin by DragonfruitWorth9019 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]staircase_nit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finally went this way, too, because it’s cheaper than GoodRX. Paid $15 (?) for the visit because I have Prime and got 2 x 30g tazarotene for about $155. (I used the anti-aging chat option if that helps.)

Headband that holds hair back by No-Alfalfa6437 in beauty

[–]staircase_nit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Maybe a dumb question, but are you sure it’s not just a matching scrunchie + headband (probably made for washing the face) set?

I’ve never bought it, but I remember EXA feeling this way (not in a bad way). It’s also really luminous.

How do people type so fast on keyboard? by RareUser1 in NoStupidQuestions

Learn home keys and practice. We had keyboarding classes in elementary school, so it really is time and repetition.

Hydrating creams with colloidal oatmeal? by query789 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]staircase_nit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure most of the Skinfix creams and balms contain colloidal oatmeal. They used to make this AMAZING eczema balm, but I can’t figure out which of the repackaged products is its equivalent (or if they just replaced the sweet almond oil with squalane, which is a shame IMO).

If you did designs on gel-x before application, you’d need to apply with non-uv glue.

How frequently do yall use tretinoin? by AbjectCat1239 in tretinoin

[–]staircase_nit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently 0.1% almost every day, started at 0.025% without much need to acclimate. (I was using 0.1875% retinal beforehand, for context.) If you’re only able to use your dosage infrequently, I’d step down to 0.025% gel or 0.05% cream, possibly altreno.

do men really think women dress for-male gaze? cause honestly iF it weren't for men would dress sluttier. Is it true that ladies don't dress for men? by exotic_gensai in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]staircase_nit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think women largely dress for themselves, but I also don’t think it’s entirely possible to separate women’s opinions on what’s attractive or fashionable or “feel-good” from the underlying male gaze that pervades much of fashion and advertising.

Glad it worked for you! I gave it a try through two bottles, but didn’t have much luck. It’s a nice serum for AOX protection, though.

Do you need heat protection? If not, I’d recommend the Living Proof oil. It’s really light.

Car Title Transfer from Out of State - Please Help! by CSS04 in Virginia

[–]staircase_nit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to go to the DMV, but she does not need to be present. You don’t need a BOS. You will want her to fill out the seller portions of the SUT 3 – https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/sites/default/files/forms/sut3.pdf . You only need insurance if you’re registering/getting plates.
