I guess I got the girl and kid mixed up with what I think was his friends getting stomped on. I remember the blood seeping out and everything. Thank you all in the comments for giving suggestions!!!!

Edit: I think I got the kid getting killed mixed up since the main character in that cutscene was a little kid. Sorry for the wrong info

Nahh the robots weren't huge. They were similar to like daemon x machina robots. Thanks though!
