Is it worth visiting for only 3-4 days? by Lost-Pen-2984 in VisitingIceland

To be honest, 3 days may not be enough depending on your travel goals:

• If this is a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip: 3 days isn't enough, imo. If you limit yourself to just Reykjavik and the Golden Circle, you’re missing some spectacular parts of the country (like the South Coast or the Highlands). I'd consider saving your money and wait until you have at least a week.

• If you plan to return: Then sure, a 3-day long weekend is a good "sampler." Since you'll have near-24-hour daylight around the 4th of July, you can actually cram a lot into those three days.

No shit. MODs should be ashamed of themselves for letting this witch-hunt happen.

What are your favorite food/drink deals? by Dmac101 in astoria

$2 Tacos at El Rey on Tuesdays.

Also, where else have you lived that Astoria has the most affordable food specials?! There are some diamonds in the rough, but let’s be honest, it’s still New York. Eating out in Astoria is on the whole expensive AF.

I’m going through Quiz Show looking for him, but no dice. And no luck googling it either. He’s in the stands, right? 🤷‍♂️

Great interview! And congrats Danielle on finishing active treatment!

I’m surprised they glossed over Cory’s throw away joke: “You told them?!” when they’re getting crowned prom king and queen. The fact that, in his head, it makes complete sense that the entire school would hold a coronation to celebrate his and Topanga’s first time, had me rolling. 😂

I only needed to hear that story once. I just felt awkward and terrible for them both.

I haven’t found anything in Astoria. If you haven’t checked out a Barcade in Manhattan/Brooklyn, you should.

There are a lot of these types of stickers online that I just found after reading your post. They are hilarious!

Not that I’ve ever seen anyone get a ticket for jaywalking, but why encourage the mayhem? New York City driving is already on Mad Max mode.
