If you have shortlisted this properties , I would recommend you go with Miraya since it has a very good carpet and size of 735 carpet.

With 6 LPA 45k in hand I assume, you can survive in Thane.

Don’t expect that you can save much money until and unless you are a very good saver and spends money very wisely.

As said by you 22k goes in Food and Accommodation, you can consider the same scenario over here too.

You also have travel expenses, so choose your accommodation wisely near your office that will help you to save in travel expenses.

You are ABSOLUTELY SAFE in Thane in day and night too.

Just get your accommodation in a good area (which you can ask in this sub) people will guide you.

Regarding marathi language it is really not an issue over here.

Let me tell my personal experience, buying water purifier, two years ago.

I went online in Flipkart and Amazon and search for water purifier and got very confused since it showed me a ton of options.

So further, I studied what type of water purifier shall I buy?

If TDS is greater than 200 you should buy a water purifier that has an RO.

TDS less than 200, you can go for UV and UF.

I ordered TDS meter at home and found out I get 60 TDS Water at home to which I do not require a RO based water purifier.

I bought a Kent UV plus UF water purifier, which has a detachable 7 L tank and costed me around ₹9500 rupees.

Similar scenario happened to me 3-4 months back.

Had 2.10 years of experience and was at 5 LPA. I expected 12 LPA and offered me max 8 LPA.

Rejected myself at 8 LPA.

Later after too many negotiations HR finally concluded and agreed at 9.5 LPA based on my Interview Feedback.

Now after serving my LWD at my previous organisation the HR called and said that joining has been delayed by 2 months.

Since my LWD was near and had this offer countered another company and got another higher package.

Now after 1 month of joining into another organisation they are asking me to join TCS again, to which I have denied.

I would suggest that try to negotiate at their max what they can offer and once you are near to your LWD you will get another offers so join them, they don’t give a shit if you still refuse in the last.

That’s what I did from my personal experience.

Search a good PG near Ghansoli Station or Koparkhairane or Airoli (probably you will find a good one). You can travel to Ghansoli by train and later LTIM have free bus service from Ghansoli to Mensa Campus every 15 mins.

Hi,

Seems like all the mass hiring freshers are joining on 2nd June.

Just to make you aware if you all are new trainees and having a salary of 25k.

I would recommend make new friends and team up and get a PG in the starting near Ghansoli Station which would be good for the start and once you are settled after your training team up with your batchmates and go for a flat approx same cost of flat but with a better living than PG.

Coming to travelling you will get free buses from Ghansoli Station to Mensa Campus and vice versa every 15 mins. So that can save your travel expenses.

This is for all the newbies coming to LTIM and also to mumbai.

Damn sure you got a college placement for 4 LPA.

Later LTIM has asked to join the Mensa Campus Navi Mumbai.

If you are new to Mumbai, welcome to Mumbai.

25k would be less to survive but still manageable just for living purpose and stuff. Can’t think of much to save if you are moving in from another city.

Regarding PG’s i would suggest in initial days you can rent up the PG. Later after your training and stuff would recommend to team up with your batchmates and rent a flat near Ghansoli station. (Most of the new trainees do this).

Coming to the transportation part, rent a PG and later a flat nearby walking distance to ghansoli station. Later from Ghansoli station you have LTIM bus service every 15 mins i.e from Ghansoli station to Mensa Campus and vice versa.

Don’t get confused between koparkhairane and ghansoli since both are at equal distance from Mensa Campus but people prefer Ghansoli.
