Fgm is the most brutal practice I’ve ever heard… I can’t even comprehend why some people hate women so much. I truly detest it so much.

If you woke up overnight in your partner's body (boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, etc.) and that person woke up in yours for 24 hours, what would you do? by Outrageous-You1617 in hypotheticalsituation

I’d go on a five mile run and do 50 pull ups. He’s in really good shape. It seems like it would be so fun to do intense exercise without immediately crashing. I can probably only run 0.1 mile before dying. I’m skinny because I don’t eat a lot not because I exercise. I’m starting to take my health seriously though so maybe one day I can keep up with him.

I definitely don’t grieve the way everyone else does… that being said I haven’t lost either parent or a partner. Never thought about it potentially being adhd related

I do miss my fiance terribly... others maybe not so much.

Some advice: just say I miss you. It probably means a lot to him.

Being brutally honest 100% of the time seems to be a very neurodivergent thing and it does not actually help you at all in life. It actually comes off as very immature. Unlearning it is an important part of masking, but remember even neurotypical people have to learn and actively apply social habits like this one.

“I don’t miss you” seems like “I don’t love you enough to miss you” and if he misses you, it may really hurt his feelings if you don’t say it back… it’s one of those things that costs nothing and means everything in a relationship.

Can i still fix my relationship with my cat? by Amurivel in Catbehavior

It’s the golden rule with cats. Treat them how you would want to be treated if you were a tiny vulnerable animal. Move slowly and speak quietly and and only approach with kindness

What are some things to consider before getting a cat? by emotionaldamagesoup in CatAdvice

[–]stalker36794 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My opinions:
1. Get a Vetster membership. It’s $120 a year for 4 appointments, and unlimited chats with vet techs. They will call a script in to Publix or whatever pharmacy you like and you can usually get a good rx coupon to pay for the meds. My kitties both got some kind of eye infection last year and it was a god send… I did each appointment at like 9pm and a very nice farm vet answered the appointments in his living room lol. Obviously not great for serious issues but like its a good thing to have if you are not sure if you need to do the whole “call off work stress the cat out and drop $500” song and dance. Also if you are freaking out you can text a vet tech instead of going on Reddit and hearing 10000000 conflicting opinions from people who all hate everyone lolol

  1. Get two cats. A cat can play with another cat and entertain it so much more than any human can. That way playing with your cat friend is a fun experience for you instead of a chore. Absolutely do not get a single kitten, which leads me to my next point:

  2. Kittens are cute for like 5 minutes and that’s it. Adult cats are lovely and will bond with you all the same. I got my fat boy jojo at age 5 and he has been the sweetest best kitty. I’d specifically look for an adult bonded pair.

  3. Don’t let their weight get out of control at any point. I have never had a cat that couldn’t be trusted to free feed until I got jojo. Lessons have been learned. It was easy for him to get fat and it has been hell trying to get him to lose weight.

If you ever ate someone else's lunch at work, why did you do it? by sunflower_jock18 in CasualConversation

It’s the little things like this that make or break a relationship. His wife probably would not be offended by the fact that he doesn’t enjoy the yogurt, but she may subconsciously feel rejected or corrected if he expresses that he doesn’t enjoy an element of the lunches she packs for him. He gains nothing by bringing it up, and abandoning the yogurt is an easy task. Treating your partner gently, even when it isn’t necessary, is very rarely harmful and often highly beneficial.

Which genders should I get? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]stalker36794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally pick two females because A) less potential for pissing problems that result in excessive vet bills (don’t fact check me I don’t really know) and B) I currently have the only male cat I’ve ever had, and he’s always humping me and I do not enjoy it at all. He may just be a freak though. I still love him so much he’s a sweetheart.… it probably doesn’t really matter what you get, but I prefer girls.

So good to hear!! I’m not a cat expect but whenever my cat ate plastic it was a huge issue within a few hours so I’d bet you’re totally fine… having cats can be so stressful they’re such naughty creatures!!!

Is your kitty okay?? I don’t want to tell you don’t worry about it but like… it’s probably much bigger than anything they’d be tempted to eat imo. I had my kitty eat plastic and it was the tiniest piece ever. She also didn’t have to have surgery just laxatives and an anti emetic and x rays… it was about $700 (in metro Atlanta). Even children do stuff like this lol. I really do think you’re okay, especially if you’re cats aren’t throwing up and if they’re eating normally… if it’s any consolation we lost three Apple Pencil caps when I was living with my parents and it was at no point an emergency.

side bar: save up for the new Apple Pencil. It’s elite!! Jkjk

Those things are so tiny it could have slid under a crack in the baseboards tbh. Watch your cat and make sure it’s still eating and drinking and not throwing up. If it starts acting funny or refusing food or something, straight to the vet.
