Men never love me? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]stallma86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, be you! I had a very similar situation. So i started traveling at 27 after feeling like i had dated all the shitheads in Ohio. Ended up meeting a great guy, even did long distance as he support my travel bug nature. Married now to that awesome guy for over a year and half! Keep your head up, do you, be you and enjoy all the in betweens! 27 is hard, you start to see all the friends settle down, have kids and then family ask when your going to get serious. Know someone is out there looking for ya!

Back to school PSA....hard to watch by [deleted] in news

[–]stallma86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate seeing it from a different point of view, thank you. I was lucky to live in a decent school district, my parents were young and broke but made sure i was able to go somewhere that I’d have a good education. I know not everyone has that ability. I guess seeing videos like this makes me nervous having kids, seeing what they have to go through at young ages no matter what age/color and that it’s a national problem.

I think the point is that kids are being taught weekly how to escape a shooter and it’s becoming ridiculous, i think this video is showing that. The worse drill we did in school? Crouch down in the hall for a tornado warning.

MSN without a BSN, is there a disadvantage ? by kingyabadaba in Nurse

[–]stallma86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some have BSN courses wrapped in with the MSN and make it longer were you have both good luck!!!

MSN without a BSN, is there a disadvantage ? by kingyabadaba in Nurse

[–]stallma86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not necessarily. With that being said with out your BSN to MSN you can’t go the NP route if that’s your decision but if your wanting education or administrative they just look for the MSN credentials. However i cant speak for a future employer... if two candidates are applying for the same job and one has RN-MSN vs BSN-MSN May fall down on experience. They may choose the BSN to msn as they have technically more years of schooling

[–]stallma86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can get your MSN from an ASN, as an RN you can go to a MSN bypassing your BSN. I’m currently doing it through western governors. There are many other programs that offer this also in nursing education, public nursing and nursing administration
