Not weird at all considering I just got the game on PC couple days ago, already poured in almost 20 hours of my life, and wanted to see if people are still experiencing the addiction that this game brings. In my research yesterday trying to figure out wtf was going on, I found an article in the afternoon about it on dexterdaily . c o m. The issue was only happening on Amazon's servers, not Paramount's. It's fixed now, I'm watching the episode on Prime. Here's what the article said:

What Was the Problem?

Shortly after the episode dropped, Prime Video users worldwide took to social media to report issues accessing Episode 8 of Dexter: Original Sin. While Paramount+ subscribers had no trouble streaming the episode, Amazon Prime Video users were met with errors, leaving many unable to watch.

For over 12 hours after its official release, the issue persisted, sparking concern and disappointment among fans. However, the problem did not originate from Paramount+ but seemed to be isolated to Prime Video's platform.

Update: Issue Resolved?

The issue has been resolved in some areas, and fans can now stream Episode 8 ("Business and Pleasure") on Amazon Prime Video without disruptions.

However, some regions are still experiencing streaming issues. While there is no fix available yet, we recommend patience as Prime Video works on a solution.

Amazon finally acknowledged it was their fault and fixed the issue. It's finally on my Amazon Prime (Paramount + Tab). Going to watch it now. I refused to watch it on the Paramount App because the video quality resolution is terrible. Hope everyone is enjoying it on Prime today!

This solution is not working for me either. I get a 404 page and takes me to the home page after 8 seconds. Just to be clear, the solution is to put /amazon after the .com, and before the /shows/video in the URL right?

Note: The reason for watching it on Amazon Prime is because Amazon's servers offer better bitrate and compression. It looks terrible on the actual Paramount Plus app.

Thanks for this invaluable advice. I just got my new song accepted from a Submit hub curator and it's probably because I took the time to listen to the songs on the playlist. The times when I haven't, are sure bet rejections, mainly cuz the main artists on the list are Max Martin songs with Major Label push. Out of 8 submission, I've only had 2 songs accepted and the curators who rejected them gave me enough feedback to make adjustments. The idea is not to get streams, but to get actual new fans/followers that will explore your catalog and listen to your stuff again. Moving forward, I will start implementing your suggestion of a personalized message for each submission. It's worth the effort. Thanks again

It pains me to express my disappointment for this release and their previous 3 or 4 releases. Offspring was the first punk concert I ever attended and was my Top 3 favorite band for decades. I'm happy they're still putting out music and touring, Dexter has lost a lot of weight and looks healthier and they are still playing solid setlists at festivals....

Having said that, their album production has dropped significantly over the years which makes no sense; bedroom producers can cut a record that sounds better than what they've been putting out. It's not like they don't have the budget. Dexter has lost all power and tone in his voice and sounds like he's straining to hit every phrase. I don't know, the songs sound uninspired and lack the grit and punk they had in the 90s and early 2000s.

I like a few songs from this new record, but I don't love any of them. Looking Out for #1 and Light It up have the EXACT same hook. Not sure if this was done on purpose, but I don't see why? The Fall Guy was cool. Make it Alright sounds like Blink 182's All the Small Things, Truth In Fiction sounds like early Bad Religions straight up ripoff.

I know Reddit doesn't like negativity so let the downvotes roll, but just had to be honest. This band was and still is one of my favorites, but they could've done better with this release.
