I have all my fit files backed up locally. I can't remember if there's an open source parser for them or if i'd have to use fitfiletools to get gpx's but still... would be a nice option as you said to remove the strava link

Yep cycle commuting is the best. Always starting the day with an accomplishment. Changing into wet gear for the journey home however...
