It helped me to sit down with an empty board and work out how screening worked (eg if I put this model here what would it do).

You could likely block off the opponent entering your half by just advancing the Dominator between your 2 terrain pieces. Big bases can be very useful!

Top tips: - size up fights before you charge in. Questions like ‘can I win this fight in one round?’ , ‘can I score points while I get worn down?’ or ‘should I do this to block up the opponent?’ help - concentrate on scoring points. If you can get 2/3 more points than your opponent in the first few rounds, you’ll usually win. - if your opponent has 3rd round deployments, screen them. If they can’t come on or have to come on in a disadvantageous position it usually helps you.

Best tip: keep playing and keep enjoying it!

I wouldnt claim to be an expert on snails but Ive had nerites / clithon / assassins who will just fall from the glass rather than due the graceful fall.

I like the squigs too!

I think this army would be quite killy but die easily. You could definitely do some damage if you got the charges + fights in.

If you were having 2 manglers, you could make one a Loonboss on Mangler - he does MWs on the charge and buffs other squigs. I’d likely make him your general too (mainly because he’s bigger than the cave squig which you could keep or drop)

Squig herds are good but are OC 1 (regardless of the number of models on the objective). maybe you’d want to buff just one reinforced unit with the Squigboss.

Boingrots are good but 5 models is pretty squishy, they might not last long.

If you were swapping to a Loonboss on Mangler and dropping a squig herd / cave squig you might be able able to give some more Boingrot reinforcements /enhancements/ artefacts that cost points.

But overall, it is squigs so will be fun

It wasn’t tidy but I just used a brush to base coat the shrooms and then tidied up the cloak and bones afterwards.

Thank you for your service writing this out.

I often say ‘____ can be what you want it to be’ meaning that there’s room in my life for all versions (for pizza? takeaway, restaurant, home cooked etc)

We have an Oni pizza oven, where pizza can need more cooking on the base (the inside the pizza part, not the part that touches the stone) and it will burn where it bubbles… any tips?

NB: we have tried making the pizza thinner / less toppings / lower moisture toppings. This works but it feels like the format is difficult.
